Art is Coming Our Way

In the coming month we will be announcing an exciting new art program. The program is being developed in conjunction with John F. Kennedy University's respected Department of Arts and Consciousness.

The exciting new art program will be tailored specifically for Marin County's senior citizen population. And this web site will showcase the results. Some of the features will include:

  • Sharing your history with others
  • Creating a scrapbook of your memories
  • Expressing yourself with a fun creative process
  • Learn how to play again with fun, artistic materials
  • Multicultural celebration through art
  • The Extended Family Photo Project

You say you always wanted to be an artist? Or maybe you say to yourself, I'm not creative. Either way, these classes are for you.

"All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he or she grows up."

Pablo Picasso

We're more than just Meals & Wheels

Our Resource Center, manned by long-time Whistlestop volunteers, where callers or drop-ins can learn answers about aging, living trusts, wills, and health care.

We give assistance with tax preparation, counsel on health insurance, offer senior peer counseling and help seniors attain US citizenship.
